Your Data Never Leaves Your Browser

Activity Calendar is built with privacy-first principles. Everything happens locally on your device.

Data Storage & Processing

Activity Calendar operates entirely within your web browser using client-side technology:

  • All date parsing and calendar generation happens in your browser using JavaScript
  • Data is stored only in your browser's localStorage (local cache/memory)
  • No data is transmitted to external servers or databases
  • Stored data automatically expires after 30 days for security

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Rights

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) and its amendments (CPRA):

Your California Privacy Rights:

  • Right to Know: You can request details about personal information we collect, use, or disclose
  • Right to Delete: You can request deletion of your personal information
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights
  • Right to Opt-Out: You can opt-out of the sale of personal information (not applicable to us)

Important Note for California Residents: Since Activity Calendar operates entirely client-side with no data collection or transmission, most CCPA provisions do not apply to our service. Your calendar dates never leave your device, and we do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information.

Categories of Personal Information: We do not collect any of the categories of personal information defined under CCPA, including identifiers, commercial information, biometric data, internet activity, or any other personal data.

Business or Commercial Purpose: Since no personal information is collected, there is no business or commercial use of personal data.

Third-Party Disclosure: No personal information is disclosed to third parties because no personal information is collected.

To Exercise Your Rights: Contact us at support@fizzilabs.com. We will respond within 45 days as required by California law. However, given our client-side architecture, there is typically no personal information to provide or delete from our systems.

What We Don't Collect

Activity Calendar does not use any tracking, analytics, or data collection services:

  • No cookies (except essential browser storage for functionality)
  • No tracking pixels or analytics (Google Analytics, etc.)
  • No user accounts, registration, or personal information
  • No server-side logging or data storage
  • No third-party integrations or data sharing

How Your Data is Protected

Local Storage Only: Your dates and calendar data are stored using your browser's localStorage API, which means they never leave your device.

Automatic Expiration: All stored data includes timestamps and automatically expires after 30 days to prevent indefinite data retention.

Data Validation: The application includes security measures to validate stored data integrity and prevent tampering.

No Network Transmission: Since all processing happens client-side, your sensitive project dates are never transmitted over the internet.

Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

  • Use the "Clear All" button to immediately delete all stored data
  • Clear your browser's localStorage to remove all Activity Calendar data
  • Data automatically expires and is deleted after 30 days

Third-Party Services

Activity Calendar uses minimal external resources for functionality:

  • Tailwind CSS: Loaded from CDN for styling (no data collection)
  • Phosphor Icons: Icon library loaded from CDN (no data collection)
  • Google Fonts: Nunito font family (standard web font service)

These services may have their own privacy policies, but they do not have access to your calendar data.
